Immortals to DH Montreal final over CLG

Immortals beat CLG in two maps, Train and Inferno, 16-14 and 16-10, respectively, to earn a spot in the final at DreamHack Montreal.
The match started out with CLG taking the first pistol round on Train on CT side, but it didn’t take Immortals long to get on the board, as they were able to put together a buy in the third round, which they won. The two teams then traded rounds for a 3-2 score five rounds in.
After several more close rounds traded by both sides, it was finally CLG, winning the last six rounds of the half on the defending side, that were able to take the reins of the first half of the first map and close it out 10-5.
The North American squad then won the second pistol round, and the anti-ecos, but Immortals quickly gained the upper hand by winning the two first gun rounds and an anti-eco in which Ricardo "boltz" Prass stuck a defuse in a 1vs1 situation.
With 13-8 on the board, Immortals won a crucial round to start mounting a comeback, strengthening their economy and keeping CLG at bay. The Brazilians then brought it back to a tie, 13-13, putting up a wall which CLG were unable to surmount with an uninspired terrorist side. CLG got one more round in, but it was finally Immortals who took the map, 16-14, to take the lead in the series.
The second map, Inferno, started out with CLG once again taking the early lead on the CT side after winning the pistol round and anti-eco. This time around, CLG were also able to win the first gun rounds, taking it to a 6-0 lead before Immortals could tally their first round.
Immortals, with Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe at the helm, started to rack rounds together, getting to within one of their rivals, 5-6, but double kills by Kenneth "koosta" Suen and Stephen "reltuC" Cutler in the 12th round kept the North Americans head. Only momentarily, though, as Immortals instantly reset CLG and ultimately took the first half, 8-7, despite starting six rounds behind.
CLG once again won the pistol round, to make it four out of four, but Immortals reciprocated in the second round pistol buy, further increasing their lead. By the end of it, it was Immortals who took the second half, the map, and the match, to win 2-0 and clinch a spot in the DreamHack Montreal final.
