markeloff: "EG? Perfect opponent"

Natus Vincere star Yegor "markeloff" Markelov has confessed he is relishing his side's semi-final chances against Evil Geniuses.
Na´Vi have progressed to the semi-finals at the Extreme Masters World Finals after a close 2-1 win over mousesports, and Markelov has indicated he is happy with the team his squad have been pitted against.
When quizzed by HLTV.org on EG, Markelov noted: "Perfect opponent for us, we are glad we will play against them tomorrow."
Like it had happened at the European Continental Finals, Na´Vi won de_dust2 and lost de_inferno against mouz, but this time around they managed to claim victory on the third map, and Markelov has now praised his side's mental game.
"After the second map, we were confused because we actually thought we could win both maps, but after losing it, we were just standing and saying: 'Let's be what we will be', that's all. Play our game, be strong, be perfect in some times, just playing with our skill, and it helped.
"We prepared four maps for this tournament and the last one was tuscan, we played it 10 times or something, we played against mouz and it was the same situation during practice, they got 8 or 9 rounds as CT, and we beat them like 10-5 like we did today."
Natus Vincere are due to take on Evil Geniuses tomorrow, at 10.00CET, a match that will not feature HLTV.
